Tell us about your Skin Wise Journey
I started my journey with Skin Wise around six months before my wedding. My main concerns were dryness, redness, and congestion, and because I have very sensitive skin, I had always been quite nervous about introducing new products. As a result, I never really had a proper skincare routine and tended to stick to the very basics for fear of irritating my skin.
With my wedding coming up, I really wanted to change that and get my skin into the best condition possible, but I also wanted to do it gradually and in a way that felt safe for my sensitive skin. From my first consultation at Skin Wise with Katie, I felt completely reassured. Having professional guidance on which treatments and products were actually suitable for my skin gave me the confidence to build a proper routine for the first time.
Over the following six months, and with monthly facials with Jess, I saw such a transformation in my skin. It felt calmer, more hydrated, and far less congested, and I started to have the healthy glow I had always wanted. By the time my wedding arrived, I felt so confident in my skin. On the morning itself, before my makeup had even been applied, I remember being genuinely so happy with how healthy and glowing it looked. What is your favourite product from Skin Wise
It’s difficult to choose just one! Two products I particularly loved were the NANNIC Pure Active Cleansing Gel and the NANNIC Recovery & Calming Mask. Both made such a noticeable difference to my skin and became staples in my routine.
The cleansing gel completely changed the way my skin felt after cleansing, while the Recovery & Calming Mask was amazing whenever my sensitive skin needed some extra care. I also loved using the NANNIC Willow Bark Exfoliant, which helped enormously with the congestion I had been struggling with.
For someone who had previously been quite afraid of introducing new skincare because of my sensitivity, finding products that worked so well for my skin was probably one of the biggest changes throughout the whole process. I went from barely having a skincare routine to having products I genuinely loved using and could see a visible difference from.
Where did you say “I do”?
We got married at the beautiful Castle Leslie Estate in Glaslough, Co. Monaghan, Ireland. We had an outdoor ceremony surrounded by our family and friends, and it was honestly the most incredible day.
