Tell us about your Skin Wise Journey.
Before my first appointment with Katie at Skin Wise in February 2022, I hadn’t been to a treatment room in over three years. The reason was that a few years earlier I had developed adult acne and was treated at the hospital with Roaccutane antibiotic.
Before that medical treatment, I had tried countless facials, topical treatments and microneedling procedures that were meant to “cure” my acne, but nothing helped. In fact, they only damaged my skin further. After the hospital treatment, my acne was gone, but I was left with scarring. My skin had been through so much that I honestly didn’t dare to visit a clinic again.
That changed when I discovered Skin Wise and met Katie for my initial consultation. She immediately made me feel at ease and won me over with her incredibly personalised approach and clear, honest advice on how to properly care for my skin.
As I was engaged and planning my wedding for the summer of 2023, the timing felt perfect to finally address the areas I was most concerned about. After just a few treatments, I stopped wearing foundation for the first time in 10 years and finally felt confident in my own skin.
What is your favourite product from Skin Wise?

Where did you say “I do”?
We actually had two weddings! Our official ceremony took place in Amsterdam at the Museum Van Loon, and we later celebrated with a bigger wedding surrounded by friends at a beautiful vineyard in Bulgaria.
